13 May 2012 — Philippians: Pursuing Joy     Regardless of Circumstance      Sheldon Savage
The Apostle Paul’s instruction to the Philippian church was to “Rejoice in the Lord always”. It was a decision that each member of the church had to make regardless of their situation, no easy feat for those enduring hardships “because of Christ”. The foundation for the joy that Paul speaks of was, and still is, based entirely on the everlasting love and mercy of God. That through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we have been given a new hope, a living hope that will one day usher us into the Holy presence of God Himself. Knowing that should forever fill our hearts with the joy that knows no bounds! For “in the love of Christ we find our best joy” (Spurgeon)

22 April 2012 — FORGIVE ONE ANOTHER Gary Harris
A crucial element in ensuring we effectively live out the “one anothers” in Scripture, is to ensure we do not fail to forgive one another. The reality is that if we strive to be the type of community God calls us to be we will, because of our human nature, eventually offend one another. We will be challenged from God’s Word to ensure we do not mess up the “one anothers” by continuously, intentionally, and practically applying “forgive one another”.

15 April 2012 — JOHN
Carrying on in the Book of John, this message considers the concepts of asking, and how that combines with the Lord’s name and the glory of the Lord.

08 April 2012 — ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER
Encouragement is an extremely valuable commodity that is sought after and enjoyed by all who receive it. On this Resurrection Sunday we are going to take a close look at some eyewitnesses accounts of the resurrected Christ. We are going to see the utter desperation of these committed followers of Christ transformed into inexpressible joy. We are going to seek to model how these followers of Christ encouraged one another with this awe inspiring news–He has risen!

01 April 2012 — SERVE ONE ANOTHER
Galatians 5:13 tells us to “serve one another in love”. We KNOW it… but it can be hard to do. This morning, we’ll learn about a new framework to help us serve others.

25 March 2012 — LOVE ONE ANOTHER IN MARRIAGE
There is no deeper relationship among people than that within a godly marriage! The Apostle Paul writes to the Philippian Church: (Phil 2:3) “In humility regard the other higher than yourself.” This must begin within marriage and then within the family! Then there will be no depriving of one another (in intimate relationships) except with consent for a time under the will of God! 1 Cor.7:5

29 January 2012 — DO NOT JUDGE ONE ANOTHER Romans 14: 1-12

We were challenged last week to love one another.  The challenge this week is to ensure you continue growing in that love and not allow it to be hindered.  A hindrance that can so easily surface and stunt fruitful growth is judgement.  In order to ensure that growth continues we will discover what God has to say on the topic of judging one another and be challenged to apply His wisdom to our lives.

22 January 2012 — LOVE ONE ANOTHER

“A new command I give you: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34-35

Sheldon Savage explains how Jesus defines this “new love” in terms of mutual service and sacrificial action towards one another. He said, “greater love has no one that this, that one lay down his life for His friends”. What does that look like for you and me today? What does it mean to love as we have been loved, and where do we find the “power” or the ability to carry out this command, knowing that the world is watching?

15 January 2012 — GOD THE FATHER/GOD THE SON

We will carry on with the major concepts in the Book of John with Rod Fehr. This morning we will consider the “God the Father/God the Son” relationship as well as Jesus’ Words, work, and miracles with a particular focus on physical healing.
